A few more down!

#12..... We have new curtains in our living room. The green giants are gone and beautiful new golden tone ones are up! Thanks to Jamie for taking them up for me, of course they only make them in 64" and our windows are not that big! So thanks Jamie!

#36.... We have baby proofed the house awhile ago. Thankfully because Micah is ready to walk any day now! This wasn't a hard task considering we have to keep everything 'up' because of Bandit!

#50.... With our tax money we decided to trade out the door treatments for new ones in the dining room! LOVE them

#69.... Fiesta had another Tent Sale so of course I went up there and grew my Fiesta Collection. Micah and myself went one weekend, and it was so nice. The two of use took a nice ride up there, shopped then came home! I love my son

I will try to get pictures of the above tasks, but don't hold me to it! LOL

Parts of #44, #54, and #59

So parts of my list are on their way to being completed...

#44 - I learned how to cook a roast! We didn't eat it but I cooked it for a friend of mine that had her baby! I took a piece of it for taste and it was yummy!

#54 - Last weekend while it was in the high 60's here in WV, Scott & I decided to go outside and wash my car by hand! We put Micah in his stroller and he just watched us go to work. I don't know if this was such a good idea because I was pretty sore for a few days afterward.

#59 - Last month I sold the minimum with Tastefully Simple that I wanted to! Only 11 more to go.

#9..... Woot Woot

ok, so it's not through the whole house but it's in the places that it was needed the most. We got our carpet installed this week! WOOT WOOT (thanks mom & dad) It was installed in the living room, dining room, stairs and upstairs hallway. Not only is the carpet nice but the pad under the carpet makes such a difference! Our stairs don't crack anymore and it's just overall more quiet throughout. Not to mention the color actually matches what we have in the house now! Goodbye old nasty blue/gray/dirty carpet!

#80..... it only took us 2 years.

Well it only took us 2 years but we finally got our marriage blessed. We decided to go ahead and do this the same day that Micah was Christened. I am VERY happy that we had this done and our family could share it with us.

#79...... Very special day!

February 1st, 2009 is the day that Micah got Baptized. We had family from both sides at the church that day! It was such a special day for our little man and I am so excited that some of our family was there to celebrate with us.

#28..... Finally Started

So I finally got around to picking up the bin so we could start to recycle. Every Monday morning there will be a big blue bin in front of our door with our recycling!!!

#96...... Not too bad!

I have NEVER liked the smell of tuna out of the can. Scott on the other hand, LOVES tuna salad. I knew I should brave the smell and try it at least once, this is why it's on my list. Scott decided to make tuna salad for lunch this weekend, and it was the perfect opportunity for me to try it! I actually kinda liked it, it wasn't at all what I thought it would be. I ended up having a sandwich with it on toasted bread! Not bad, not bad at all. I may actually have it again.

#43....Check!

So Scott has helped me start on this little journey. He helped me load all my pictures onto my external hard drive today. This was one of my presents from Scott for Christmas. It is what? 17 days AFTER Christmas and we finally got around to doing it. THAT is why I put it on my list, because I knew if I didn't it would just lay around for a really long time. Anyway, I'm happy the first is over with, now to the other 100 that are left!

What is this about?

January 9th, 2009 - October 6th, 2011

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

Why I want to do this:
A friend of mine started this, then a few of us have followed along. It is a long term goal and not just a 'New Years Resoluction'. Wish me luck!
